The handle on this microwave oven broke and a replacement part was not available from the manufacturer. The customer sent us a hand sketch of the desired handle, which was then used to create a computer model of the part. Using the computer model, our 3D printer was able to generate several completely functional handles which were then sent to the customer. Total turnaround time was under one week.
